We went on a field trip to Burnaby Village Museum to learn more about our study of communities in the past and present. We learned so much as we explored the village, compared the similarities and differences of the Elworth House, went grocery shopping in a general store, rode the tram while observing the bags of different people who once travelled on it, and attended school as it was in the past! We also learned how to write with a calligraphy pen and played games that students back then would have enjoyed during recess!
