Today we read the book “Be You!” by Peter H. Reyholds.  As we read this book together, we talked about the ways  that every child is unique and special, and to always “be your own work of art” . . . because there is one, and only one, YOU. 

Introducing Division 11 . . . a collection of talented, exceptional, and one of a kind kiddos! 

The weather was perfect for this year’s Sports Day . . . sunny with a breeze.  As you can see from the pictures, the children had a wonderful time. They really enjoyed all the games and the tug of war contests.

The children have been learning about some of the people in our community (e.g., teachers, police officers, firefighters, mechanics, doctors, bus drivers) and the basic skills that are required in a variety of jobs.  They were asked to think about what career they might like to have when they grow up and why.  Here are their responses…
