Gummy Worms?

Division 10 has been learning about the classification of living or non-living things.  We know that most living things need water, food, air, sun and a place or space to live.  Living things can grow, change, and reproduce.  Living things adapt and respond to their environment.

We decided to compare gummy worms to real worms.  Here we are making observations and sorting them onto a chart.[metaslider id=2335]

leaf1Division 10 did some crayon rubbing of leaves and acorns using patterns and dried glue.  Then we brainstormed some descriptive words and action words about leaves to write diamanté poems. [metaslider id=2317]

Happy Thanksgiving!

Division 10 made paper turkeys in anticipation of the Thanksgiving weekend.  The turkeys are not only adorable, they also taught us about data collection.  After we made our turkeys, we graphed the information.  Wow! There’s a lot of math going on.[metaslider id=2272]
