Characters in a story often change. Sometimes, it is one event, conversation, or problem that has been solved that changes a character at the end, such as;

• The bad become good.
• The weak become strong.
• The sad become happy.

Get your grown-up to ask you these questions:

What was the character like at the beginning? Bad

How do you know that he was bad? The seed was always late, never washed his hands, lied, cut in line and never listened.

How did the character change in the story?  The seed made a big decision and didn’t want to be bad anymore.

How made you describe the character at the end?  He was trying to be good.

How do you know that he was trying to be good?  The seed said “thank you” and “please”.  He smiled and held doors open for others.
