Halloween – Ms Gourlay's Class

Halloween

| Posted in Learning

Happy Halloween, my spooky little friends!

The children of division 11 were absent today and these ghosts and goblins showed up instead.  They insisted that Halloween is their favourite day of the year! We celebrated by building ghost towers, making monster hands, singing and dancing, and participating in a costume parade.

We also created scary haunted house stories using loose parts. Ask your child to tell you about their picture.

Thank you for taking the lovely pictures! The kids had so much fun yesterday! Ava even wanted to go to school earlier yesterday because of her excitement. The popcorn monster hand is really spooky and creative!

I love your bumblebee costume and dancing Ms Gourlay. I wished you would be in the picture with the children. 🙂

It is great to have an extra hour of sleep. Thank you Parkcrest!
