It is Dr. Seuss month and Division 10 has been reading lots of his books.  One of our favorite is  Bartholomew and the Oobleck.  It is a story about how a king wished he could have something new fall from the sky.  Down came Oobleck, a gooey-green substance that wreaked havoc on the kingdom until the king said he was sorry.

Division 10 decided to conduct a science experiment and make our own Oobleck.  Oobleck acts like a liquid when being poured, but like a solid when a force is acting on it. You can grab it and then it will ooze out of your hands. It’s very fascinating stuff and before too long we had our hands covered with it.  It was really messy, but it was easily washed away with water. All you need is 1 cup water and 2 cups corn starch.  We added a few drops of green food coloring. Try it at home![metaslider id=2552]
