    Apr 28th – 3rd round of activities (gr. 1/2)

    1. Compose your own piece of music to from instruments/objects that you have at home. Maybe consider expressing in your music the thoughts and feelings you’ve experienced since you’ve been at home away from school. Maybe get family members to help by playing other instruments/objects at the same time. If possible submit a recording of your composed music.
    2. Pick a story that you like. Create music to accompany the story. Strategies could include using instruments or objects at home to create sounds that represent characters or events in the story, or singing some of the words of the story with a tune that represents characters or events in the story.
    3. Echo the rhythms played on the drum in this video using claps, pats, a combination of pats and claps, or an instrument that you have at home: https://musicplayonline.com/rhythm-practice-new/. Submit a recording of yourself doing the activity.
