Back to school: Tips on how to be successful for math
- Review your foundations! Practice your operations at home: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Challenge yourself to using 3 to 4 digit numbers in each operation.
- Use flash cards to practice your multiplication and division facts. If you need a multiplication chart, click here!
- Play online math games here! Don’t forget to monitor your screen time.
- Ask Ms. Cheng for additional resources or extended homework

Summative assessment: Students will be creating a poster, including the components of: an Art pattern design; creating and identifying pattern rules, making T-Table word problems, asking and answering word problems involving time, and algebraic equations. This will be completed Oct. 4-Oct. 15 during class time. On Oct. 15 at the end of the day, students completed a self-assessment, as well as got peer-assessment on a rubric regarding their understanding of patterns and algebra.
