Divisions 1-7

Hello All,
1) Lots of people have been asking about due dates, I have explained it on my blog on the Q&A page. I will remind you all that if you are doing the autobiography, it’s due April 30.
2) For autobiography: Please answer the questions in DETAIL (not 1-2 sentences) and provide a recording of YOURSELF singing the song (or with family members since the song has significance to your family). 
3) If you are doing the composition or parody, the due date is May 15 (tentative, I can extend if you talk to me).

Music Activity/Project:

Please read “Div.1-7 Assignment” for an outline of your project. Details for each option can be found in the separate files attached. There are 3 options to choose from. Please pick one. Please collaborate and work with others if you can. This assignment will be due April 30 (tentatively). More time will be given if needed. If you choose to do the composition project and is recording collaboratively, you may have more time to work on your project. Please talk to me.

(Note to Grade 7’s: No one knows what May/June or Grad will look like. Mr. Wall and I are discussing the possibility of an online Grad assembly when and if we do come to that.)

Happy Thursday! I hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine. If you are reading this, can you please leave me a comment by saying “hi” so I know you have access to my blog? This is how we will be touching base for the next little while. I’m hoping to communicate with you on Teams as well, hopefully soon. 

If you haven’t already, check out these two music sites, you get to make digital compositions online. Remember we learned about “instrumentation” and layering right before spring break during our composition unit? This ties in to that! It’s really cool!
