Punch the Numbers
Hello friends! This activity will only take a few minutes to set up. You will need some paper/cardstock, a marker to write the numbers and a hole punch. I used these printables for the shapes but feel free to cut them out freehand. https://www.firstpalette.com/pdf/shapes-basic.pdf https://www.firstpalette.com/pdf/shapes-fun.pdf This activity is great for practicing numbers and counting as well… using the hole puncher helps build little hand muscles for printing! Challenge your child to color in the shapes before they punch them… Have them name the shapes…. how many points does a triangle have? Put the numbers in a number line…. So much learning!! Have fun!

Stone Puzzles
I don’t know about you but I love collecting stones… there are so many shapes, sizes and colours! I want you to find a bag or basket and go for a walk outside. Your job today is to find some beautiful rocks and bring them home. Ask your children questions… how do the rocks feel? What shape do you see? Do you see lines in the rock? When you get home you might want to set your child up at the sink so they can wash and dry their stones. Once they are done find a piece of paper, a pencil, a marker and a small bowl to hold the…

Leaf Crowns
Today let’s go outside and explore all the beautiful leaves that are falling down off the trees! I went for a walk with my dogs this morning and saw so many beautiful colours and shapes. What colours do you see? Can you find a big leaf? A small leaf? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKjUPqbt8DU&list=RDQM6j8U-D3jbMI&start_radio=1 I want you to collect a few leaves and bring them home to make a leaf crown! You will need a long piece of paper, a stapler and your collection of leaves. Have your adult measure your head with the piece of paper to make the crown. You can then staple your leaves onto the crown. Here is one of…

Let’s create!
Good morning my little friends! Today we are going to create a beautiful collage. You need a roll of clear contact paper. This paper is used to line drawers and shelving. I found it at Dollarama. Find some coloured paper, tissue paper, Pom poms, leaves and flowers… anything that will stick to the paper. Parents cut out shapes and talk about with with your children! I taped the paper with the sticky side out on the window but you can put it on the wall. Leave the paper up for a few days and add different materials! ❤️ Ms Gael

A Sensory activity for babies….
Okay my littlest friends… This activity is for you 🙂 Go for a walk and collect a few nature pieces… a stick… a petal… a few leaves… Grab a large ziplock bag, a big glass of water and some wide packing or masking tape. I used a little rubbing alcohol to wipe away the ziploc label but if you don’t have it at home just skip this step! Place all your treasures inside the bag along with the water. Gently squeeze the air out of the bag. Take the tape and seal the bag onto the floor. Take another piece of tape and place it on the bottom of the…
