Educating the Heart and Mind ), at Brentwood Park we have been working with the Heart and Mind Index over the past few years, in recognition of the important role school plays in supporting students’ education of both their hearts, and their minds.
The Heart-Mind Online website (Heart-Mind Online ) is a fantastic resource for families looking for ways to support their children’s social emotional well being. There are so many things that you can do to help build on your child’s growing ability to recognize, name, and tame the myriad of feelings they encounter as they delve into deeper engagement with the social world. Fostering these skills has been made much more difficult in light of the pandemic, but as we inch our way back to some sort of “normal”, I wanted to share this short video clip from the heart-mind online website.
