End of Term 2 Clean Up

Hello Parents, Guardians, and Adults of Division 3,

Please ensure you read all the way to the bottom.  I know it’s long but the message and information is important. 🙂

As we finish up Term 2 and get ready for Spring Break.  I wanted to let you know my process for preparing for Term 3.  All students need to bring a large (reusable) bag with them Friday March 12th to pack up all their things to take home over break.  This is to ensure the room gets properly cleaned over break, cubbies wiped down, desks cleaned etc. We will be clearing out Term 2 work from their binders/duotangs and storing it in labelled envelopes over break to prepare for Student Led Conferences.

Please be advised students do not take their numbered plastic bins provided by me home 😉 .

This is another good time to  evaluate your child’s organizational process with them, as well as their school supplies.  Many students in this class are still struggling with organization and could use some additional guidance from home as well as the guidance they are getting at school.

Student report cards will have notes about being more organized and time management if this is a challenge specifically for your child.

 

Reminder of School Supply List for Grade 5/6 Students:

  • 1 box of kleenex
    • If you have not already provided please provide in January
    • We’ve only received 4 so far

I am very much looking forward to Term 3, and appreciate your support in getting them ready for the next phase in their academic careers.

Have a wonderful, relaxing and rejuvenating Spring Break as much as possible.  I will miss the kiddos until break is over!
