About Ms. Wilson
Hi Everyone,
My name is Ms. Wilson
I was born in Vancouver (Kitsilano to be specific), and raised there my entire life. I just moved to Burnaby in 2018 when I was fortunate enough to buy and renovate my first condo. I love being a Burnabarian!
I graduated from UBC with an BA in interdisciplinary studies, I took some time off after graduating and worked on an international change program for a globally recognized FI. I decided to go back to school and get my Bachelors in Education in Middle Years & Self Regulation from UBC. I’ve been teaching since 2018 and have taught at Gilpin Elementary and Buckingham Elementary, and now Nelson Elementary.
I love the outdoors, specifically photographing it with my Fujifilm XT2. I don’t love being active outdoors but I have someone who always gets me to push my limits outside and I’m always proud of myself when I am! I’m especially proud of when we hiked to Camp Muir on Mount Rainier together in 7 hours and 55 minutes!
If I wasn’t a teacher I’d be an interior designer. You could probably tell that by looking at my classroom. I loved designing and renovating my first home and am already dreaming of what the next one will look like!
You’ll learn so much more about me during the year, I can’t wait to get to know you all better!
Sincerely,
Ms. Wilson
