Start your Pirate Chalk Beard biography project. Use THIS DOCUMENT to help you get started. You can use THIS PAGE to help you organize the actual events of his life. You have to write a biography about the pirate in this book . Click HERE to read the BOOK

Finish up writing assignment 2: Write a letter to your future self. What do you want to remember about this time? What life lessons are you learning? What are your hopes for the future? (Submit it to Teams. Read your letter aloud in FlipGrid.)

Start by brainstorming everything that you know about pirates. This is a sample that I did with a student from a different school.
Next, use a web to organize what will go into the pirate’s biography. Remember, the biography is a story of someone’s life.

You can further organize your ideas in the rough draft. Please note that this student is still in the developing category due to some spelling and grammar errors.
This is the back of the planning page. You can finish your rough draft here and see the criteria.
You can write your final version of the pirate autobiography on lined paper (double-spaced) or you can type it, Arial size 12 font.
Last page of the good copy. Keep your printing. This student would receive developing on this assignment because they did not try to expand their vocabulary. The printing could have been neater too. However, the ideas are solidly presented and the student is working toward organizing their ideas better too.
