Good afternoon families,
Below is some information about some upcoming events and dates around our school and in Division 11.
Field Trip:
We are planning a field trip to Science World during Term #3. We are still working on booking, payments and once fully planned and approved we will send home a notice with all the information.
Suncrest Spirit Wear Orders:
Suncrest Clothing Fundraiser orders are due this Saturday! Please click the link below to check out clothing and create your order.
Pink Shirt Day and Assembly:
Pink shirt day is this Wednesday February 25. Remember if you do not have a pink shirt that is okay, what matters is not what you wear but how you treat others. This month we have been working on our social thinking around kindness.
Our Assembly run by Divisions 2, 6 and 8 begins at 10:40am in the gym.
Planning a Vacation:
Please let us know in advance by emailing myself and our secretary Ms. Boleak with the dates you plan on being away from school. This helps if I am ever away as it is already logged into the system.
Dropping off during Lunch:
Sometimes our doors are closed at lunch. After chatting with Ms. Boleak, she let me know that if you are dropping off at lunch that your child can go straight to play with their friends and I will log them in when they are back inside from lunch. If you are coming back during instructional time please sign your child in and out at the office.
Absenses
Thank you to the families who email me that their child will be away. Sometimes I am off site or not at work. I encourage families to also let Ms. Boleak know as I am not always on my email when I am off work, at a workshop or sick.
Report Cards:
This term our report cards will be available online on Wednesday March 11. More information was sent home by Ms. Sakic through email. Below is our Term #2 overview (which is also written into the subject sections on the report card.) Your child’s self-reflection will be sent home in their planner on March 11.

This contest is optional and all the information is here, posted on our school website and in the window of our classroom. The winner of the poetry contest will win a pizza party for their class.
