We will meet as a class from 9:30-10:00am and 1:00-1:20pm
***Please note, this week I have a teacher conference on Thursday morning so our morning meeting is cancelled, but follow the week plan for Thursday’s activities.
***Please note Friday is Professional Day for all Burnaby Students.

Next week in addition to our morning and afternoon meeting we will also be having a small group meeting. Below are the groups and when we will be meeting on Zoom. We will use the same link at our morning and afternoon meeting.

  • Using our 5 senses, scientific method – asking questions, testing our predictions
  • Continued learning about emotions and strategies using the Zones of Regulation

 Special Materials Needed this week:

  • white paper, black crayon and watercolour paints or pencil crayons
  • materials for science project-see weekly schedule
  • if possible on your grocery shopping this week, a pumpkin to use for science
  • dice and counting tools (small counters) for Math

  1. How do I use TEAMS to upload images of Miriya’s projects? I was unaware that we are suposed to be doing that.

    1. Thanks for the message Fonda.
      Within the assignment, you should be able to click on the assignment and “add work”. It will then give you an option to upload a photo, file or link.
      There are also lots of helpful videos within the Microsoft TEAM that may be helpful too.

  2. I could not access the template for the pumpkin investigation. Seems to be access protected? maybe a password?

      I added a link to this printable within the TEAMS assignment and it should not require a password anymore. Let me know if it does not work for you.

  3. are there any issues with using a windows 7 PC to access the videos on share point?
    Miriya’s PC is unable to access the videos, while my PC is fine

    1. Hi Fonda,
      I think both versions of Windows should work. Our IT department says it’s best to use the most up to date versions of either Firefox or Google Chrome when using sharepoint videos.
