Hi everyone,
This week we are starting our “Not A Box” building project! This project will be ADST (applied design, skills and technology) driven and our focus for this week will be on generating ideas and planning! Please help your child by having their drawing book, notebook or clipboard with paper available to them this week for our live meetings.
In Language Arts we are going to be brainstorming, drafting our design, and completing some procedural writing.
To support our designs and explorations, in Math we will be looking at 2D shapes, their attributes, and how they can be sorted.
Important Dates this week:
Tuesday morning: we will be taking a ‘class photo.’ – please see my email from Friday to ensure you have provided consent or opted out of this opportunity.
This Friday morning we are having Aspen, a guest author, join us as she reads us one of her stories. For this special event, our morning meeting will start at 10am and the necessary Zoom link will be sent to you Thursday.
