Hello Families!
In Language Arts and Science this week we will be focusing on the last stage our caterpillars’ life cycle: the butterfly stage! We will be learning about the butterflies’ body parts, writing a journal reflection, and wrapping up the unit with our final observations. In Math, we are continuing with financial literacy in thinking about wants vs. needs, exchanging money via dramatic play, and money word problems. In the afternoons for our Social Emotional Learning, are going to be discussing optimism!
Reminders:
- No school Monday, May 31 for our Pro D Day!
- Small groups are back to regular scheduled times
- Don’t forget to we are participating in the 30 Walk Challenge, so try to find time to get moving and do our Before We Meet workouts! Post your pictures or videos of you being active on our 30 Walk Challenge Channel on TEAMS!
- The following week, we will be starting a design and building project, so please start collecting cardboard boxes (tissue, or bigger if you like!) and other cardboard type products such as paper towel and toilet paper rolls.
