Today we:

  • corrected Cp17 & 20
  • talked about the review package (and how to do the spoken part) because we have our first test next class!
  • learned adjectives – p36-37
  • talked about the criteria for the Disparu(e) (Missing person) assignment – assigned on Teams and due mardi le 22 oct
  • worked on adjectives – p38-39

For next class:

  • Make sure to give your Interim self-assessment to your parent(s)!!
  • we have our first test coming up – vendredi le 18 oct!
    • you should do the review package to help you prepare! (THE AUDIO HAS BEEN UPDATED)
  • p38-39 – due mardi le 22 oct
  • Disparu(e) (Missing person) assignment – assigned on Teams and due mardi le 22 oct

Catch-up afternoons – Term 1

Were you away the day of a test? Did you not earn a passing grade on the test?

If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, then you need a catch-up afternoon! They are in my classroom, E204 and begin ~ 3:10pm.

If you were away the day of the test, just show up at the catch-up afternoon.

If you did not earn a passing grade on the test and would like another chance to show your learning, you need to do the following at least 48 hours before the catch up afternoon:

  • Test rewrite application
  • show me all completed work that was available to help you practice the material (completed cahier, Supersite, worksheets etc)
  • Also remember that you’re welcome to come see me during flex time to get help!

Catch-up afternoon dates:

  • mercredi le 23 oct
  • jeudi le 7 nov
  • mardi le 19 nov
  • mercredi le 27 nov – LAST ONE for TERM 1

  • corrected p34 (the être & avoir practice in the Eiffel Tower package)
  • did the interim self-evaluations
  • played a game to practice the body parts vocab
  • did some work in the cahier:
    • Cp17 – les couleurs
    • Cp20 – the verb avoir
  • received copies of the review package to help study/prepare for our first test of the year (vendredi le 18 oct)

For next class:

  • Whatever you didn’t finish in class:
