  • went through some promotion with Mme Niemann
  • corrected Cp27-28
  • learned some new vocabulary related to décor – Cp29
  • practiced the new vocab – Cp31

For next class:

  • Quiz – vouloir & pouvoir – lundi le 9 avril
  • last day in the computer lab to work on the restaurant presentations – mercredi le 11 avril
  • Unit Test – mardi le 17 avril
  • Présentations – jeudi le 19 avril

Fr8/Leadership – Wednesday April 4

Today we:

  • continued working on our Leadership unit
  • worked in the computer lab on our “You as a leader” activity (quote, magazine cover & reflection)
    • Here are the reflection questions (remember you answer 3 of the 5):
      • How did it feel to think about yourself in the future and on a magazine?
      • What makes it difficult or easy to think of yourself as a leader?
      • When you see a magazine cover with a well-known person, what distinguishes the person as a respected leader versus a celebrity?
      • Do you think being on a magazine cover means the person is a leader? Why or why not?
      • Why do you think many people believe a person has to do something monumental to be considered a leader?

For next class:

  • Step 1, the quote is due Friday April 6th
  • Step 2, the magazine cover & reflection is due Thursday April 12th
  • Next class we will be talking about our Rebel Fest booth – come with ideas!
