Attribution is very important on the internet. It not only shows respect to the owners ideas , but shows that you like and care about their work. When you scroll your mouse over this image you will notice that a bar will pop up. In that bar it will show the name of the person who took the photo. That is showing attribution. There are consequences sometimes for not giving attribution. So as you can see giving attribution is respectful and responsible.

Attribution
Giving attribution is really important when you copy a picture from the internet. It technically means giving someone credit for there work/art. If you copy a picture remember give attribution/credit. This is where I got this picture https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
There’s a website that you don’t have to give attribution it’s called PixaBay here is a link to the page: https://pixabay.com/
The Importance of Attribution
giving attribution is very important because you cant take someone else’s picture without asking them. If you take a picture without giving attribution that’s plagiarism if you plagiarise you could get fined because that’s illegal. so take the extra time to give attribution to save all that trouble
down below there is a picture with Attribution
the importance of attribution.
Attribution means giving credit for that picture and the file person.Giving attribution is showing respect for their work that they did, furthermore when you are to use someone’s picture then you should be kind and give the attribution to the picture. I was confused of how to give the attribution but then I remembered how to. It’s not respectful to not give attribution to a picture when you should, imagine someone woke up 3:00 am just to take a picture of a sunrise and edited for six hours for a perfect picture. that is reasonable for some and if you know you gave attribution then when you hover over your photo you picked it will show it.
Attribution is Key
Giving Attribution is key because it gives respect to the maker of the image.
As you can see if you put your mouse over the image you can see who, what, and well that’s it, (now put your mouse over the screen).
Also i got this image from Wikimedia commons which is easier to give attribution but in google it’s little bit harder so yeah.
