International Woman’s day

International woman’s day(IWD) is on march, 8, We celebrate it every year. Its mostly about rights that woman has, because woman in the past didn’t have right to go to school and only can stay home.

Today from now there is still woman that is not allowed to have education in other countries, because other people think woman’s job is to have a family and do some things that don’t need education.

woman now is still not powerful for some men to say, but woman can proof that they are people how matter.

In school I learned that a girl called Malala got threaten by a gunman and got shot in the head, because in that time girls did not get permission to get education, and now in some countries they still don’t get education. That’s why on March 8, we celebrate international woman’s day.

So for now, the woman who got to get education, we must be very thankful, because this is a chance we can get powerful.

What I Think About International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is about remember about how women were treated in the past, they couldn’t go to school, couldn’t get a job. They were suppose to stay home and clean, cook, take care of kids. Men were allowed to go to school, allowed to get a job, men has freedom, men had more power. To me as a girl i’m lucky now that i’m able to go to school, girls are able to go to school, women are allowed to get a job but still in this world men and women aren’t treated equally. Some job well most, men get paid more then women’s do witch isn’t fair, I want to help to change this world, I want more equality in this world. There are many women who stand up for equality between men and women, that’s why women and men have a little more equality now and i’m really grateful for those women’s because if they never did that girl and women still wouldn’t be able to go to school and work right now. 🙂

What I do when I only see the left end of the stick.

We have read further in Touching Spirit Bear and we have learned a lesson. Edwin said ” try to get rid of the left end of the stick.” ” Why is the left end of the stick still there?”  We have been reading about how the left end of the stick cannot be broken. Edwin also said that the pond they were sitting in gave them a choice to be either happy or angry. We have been given the question What do you do when you can only see the left end of the stick?

I usually just relax and do something that takes my anger off of my mind. Relaxing and doing something else is how I take away my anger.

KIDS MOVE

at our school two classes get to go to a program every week for ten months called fortuis

fortuis is a program where they get kids to be more active and learning new sports

every week there are four new activity stations  about exercising so we don’t have to do the same one over and over again some of the sports come back again like if soccer was here it would probably come back next three weeks

oh did i not mention that we have to walk to fortus when were walking to foritus it not hard to go there but when we walk back we have to walk hills and more hills the good thing is we get more exercise for our legs

What Will You do If You Only Seem To See The Left End Of The Stick?

This project is what we read from our novel, and we came up with a question about it.The right end of the stick is happiness, and the left is anger.Cole (the main character)tried to break the anger off of the stick, but it didn’t work out, anger will still be remaining on the stick. What will you do if you only see the left end of the stick?

This project is what we read from our novel, and we came up with a question about it.This is my answer to the question. When I am only seeing the left end of the stick, I would probably decide to not stare at the flames anymore. I would just think of something else to distract me off of the anger. And I also have a caring family and friends that will help me too.I read that all of life is a hot dog. And if I was angry I can make my life a feast, instead of just being ordinary. And being by yourself for a while will help calming yourself more – like a time out.Garvey (the elder)suggest to sit on a rock in a freezing pond. If the weather is Winter you would probably get rid of your anger faster, because if you are warm and cozy with fire to warm you up then you will stare at the flames of fire, and if you sit in a cold quiet pond there is no anger to stare at – only peacefulness. And maybe you’ll get out of the anger zone and change and move across to the happy zone. Depends on which way you chose to live.
