  • Stickers
  • Magazines
  • Old calendars
  • Thread or yarn
  • Sponges
  • Sequins or sparkles
  • Feathers
  • Shells
  • Small boxes (aspirin, toothpaste, soap, etc.)
  • Pompoms
  • Gems and diamonds
  • Sparkly things, beaded necklaces, etc.
  • Old magnets
  • Stamps
  • Cotton balls/Q-tips
  • Vegetable netting (garlic, onions, etc.)
  • Keys
  • Lids (pens, bottles, jars, toothpaste, shampoo, spices, etc.)
  • Nuts, bolts and washers

  • ANYTHING BEAUTIFUL!

Our job is going to be to use these items to give them purpose once again! We appreciate you so much for donating to our classroom! Feel free to send items throughout the school year. We are always in need of beautiful things in our art studio!

Many thanks,

Additional Joyful Jubilee Information

Hi families,

Next Thursday, December 15, the children will be performing in our school Winter Concert, The Joyful Jubilee. As mentioned in a notice that went home last week, there will be an afternoon performance at 1pm and an evening performance at 6:30pm.
Please make sure to read the email that was sent home to parents today (from the school) about how to get tickets for the evening show! There will be a limit of 2 tickets per family.

As shared in the previous post from Mrs. Lui, Kindergarten students are the chipmunks: Alvin, Simon, and Theodore
– wear a solid red, green, or blue shirt
– brown, black, or dark pants
– yellow A, S, & T are optional (A on red, S on blue, T on green)

– students should know which chipmunk they will be so they can practice the right part in music class.

Students are asked to wear their concert attire on both Wednesday, December 14 (dress rehearsal) and Thursday, December 15 (afternoonand evening performances).

Doors will open at 6pm for the evening performance. Families can enter our usual North Entrance doors and bring their child to their classroom. Pick up will be after the concert at 7:30pm.
