Div. 1 & 2 have been studying instruments and music of the orchestra.  Students recognize and appreciate how artists expressions differ over time and place.

Division One started their music and dance e-portfolios today!  

An ePortfolio (electronic portfolio) is an electronic collection of evidence that shows your learning journey over time.

Dance club is performing at Tuesday, May 16th’s Community gathering at 11:00.  Dancers remember to bring your costumes.  Also, we will have a quick rehearsal at recess to re-space.  See you all then!

Dance Club will be performing at Burnaby Mountain Secondary on Wednesday, May 3rd at 7:00 pm.  Come and cheer us on!!

What a great couple of weeks at Confederation Park School!  We had an amazing Art Show that was organized and executed by our PAC.  The Art Show was a wonderful evening filled with music, fun and of course…student art.  Simply stunning!  Then we were treated to a one week residency with Marian Rose on community dance.  Marian commented on how respectful and open our students were in trying new dances.  We had a full, sweaty night of dance on Thursday evening and then a formal performance from our students on Friday afternoon.  Such skills and enthusiasm everyone!  Somewhere in all this I was honoured to take my very special choir to the Bayshore to spread Christmas Cheer to many senior citizens.  The senior citizens look forward to this annual tradition of a turkey lunch and music from our choir.  We were presented with a recognition award for being part of this yearly tradition.  Whew! and we still have a couple more weeks to go!
