Burnaby District Honour Ensembles

Burnaby school district offers five district auditioned choirs- two vocal choirs, and one Handbell Choir for Burnaby students. These choirs offer extra-curricular opportunities for interested students to further explore love of music. All choirs practice after school once a week and have numerous opportunities to perform at special events around the lower mainland.
The District Honour Groups are:
Burnaby Children’s Choir – Piccolini – Director TBA; Accompanist TBA.  This choir is for students in grades 1 – 4 and rehearses at Marlborough School on Tuesdays after school.

Burnaby Youth Choir – Corovoce – Directors Ms. Fierro; Accompanist Ms. Ishii.  This choir is for students in grades 5 – 12 and rehearses at South Slope School on Mondays after school.   Click here for the Corovoce blog

Sound Wave Handbell Choir – Director Ms. Janet Kyle.  This choir is for students in grades 6 – 12 and rehearses at Inman School on Mondays 3:30 – 5:30.
