Are we ready?  Of course we are!  I will be sending home a Pink Project information letter home and Giants tickets on Wednesday, Feb. 5th.  Remember, student dancers do not need tickets.  Just meet the Confederation Park staff at the north door, gate six between 1:00 – 1:30 on Monday, February 10th.  Don’t forget to wear what you’re suppose to wear! (wink, wink)  🙂

Recently, our older students have been singing Katy Perry’s song “Roar”.  Here is what they are saying…

Alessandro:  “You held me down” is referring to her mind thinking negative comments about herself.

Lauren:  I think the “you” in this song is anxiety and fear…..(Katy) realizes that she needs to stand up against her own fear.

Austin:  The song is about standing up for yourself and for having the courage to do what’s right, take charge and you can be the one that makes a difference by finding the power that is in yourself.

Nicola:  The lion represents bravery & courage.  The tiger represents strength & independence.  The butterly represents what she has become.  The bee represents the power that she has now.

Leah:  This song is about breaking out of the shell you have been hiding in…finding the courage to stand up and be noticed…being strong!

…and we are back!
