My Dear Students and Families,

Miss you all very much! I do love talking with you all!! I hope you and your families are all well and have been enjoying a much needed break in light of current events in our world today.  Please remember to be critical thinkers about what you read, see, and hear!! Just like we have talked about in Socials Studies class. 

My family and I are well and have been exploring our neighborhood and yard during this past spring break.  I have been resting, walking, gardening, cleaning and organizing our house.  I have remembered our class meetings and all the suggestions we have talked about for self-care.  My favorites this spring break have been getting back to walking in nature, reading, playing with our cats, card games (kings in the corner) and cooking with my kids as well as watching a few movies and shows.  (I finished the Mandalorian series- loved it!!) I hope you all have been taking care of yourselves.  Please remember that Self-Care is important during these times.  

I will be contacting division 1 families by phone over the next couple of days to check in and see what technology you have available to help me plan some lessons in literacy and numeracy.  So we will all ease into this at everyone’s accessibility level and hopeful begin continue our learning journey together with some interesting new topics. I believe our office 365 teams will be our classes main form of communications as they are already set up.
