Hi Families, We can’t believe it’s the last week of school before Spring Break. We celebrated being at school for 100 days recently as well. Here are some reminders about the last week: ***I handed out Edmonds Park forms last Friday. The forms are due on Wednesday, March 13. I will send out forms on Monday and online if your child is absent. Wednesday, March 13: *Return your library books!! Hi Families, It is already March! Here are some reminders for the week: Wednesday, March 6: -Please return your library books! -We are celebrating 100 Days at school! I will share the notice I sent out on Friday through another email on Monday in case you didn’t get one. ***We have had very rainy and cold days lately. Story Workshop – Creating Stories
STORY WORKSHOP Since Term 1, we have been using Story Workshop to explore loose parts and use these materials to create stories. We can all become storytellers when we use imagination! (There is a photo at the bottom showing how we are hard at work creating stories!) We have been talking about different elements of a story. These posters are from Sweet Sounds of Kindergarten. You can take a look and look at the different elements/parts of a story. Story Workshop is focused on helping children be creative. Hi Families, If you celebrate the Lunar new year, Happy Lunar New Year! Here are some reminders for the week: Monday, Feb. 12: Please bring a small empty box (cereal box, shoe box, etc) for your child. We will paint it on MONDAY and decorate it to make Valentine’s Day mailboxes. If you bring a box after Monday, we probably won’t have time to decorate it.
