This Week in Division 16: October 20-24
Hi Families, It is getting a lot colder these days, and many students are getting sick. If your child is sick, please let them rest at home until they feel better. I handed out some hot lunch envelopes today for students who usually pay with cash. If you need an envelope, please let me know! Here are the reminders for the week: Tuesday, October 21 Library books are due! You can bring the book back on Monday if you want. Thursday, October 23 Hot Lunch envelopes are due! Being Thankful
One of the books we read for Thanksgiving was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. We talked about how trees provide us with many things like air to breathe and wood for the furniture in our homes and classroom. We made pictures to say thank you to trees for our bulletin board. This week, we also talked about what kind of people and things we are thankful for. You can talk about this with your family this weekend!

Hi Families, Have a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend! Here are some reminders for the week: The weather is getting colder and it is raining a lot more. Please bring extra clothes (socks, underwear, pants, and shirts) in a bag with your child’s name on it. This bag will stay in the classroom for your child in case they need to change their clothes if their clothes got wet outside. Tuesday, October 14: Library books are due!
