This Week in Division 16 (Feb. 5-9)

Hi Families,

Our class did an amazing job singing at the school concert. I will try to figure out a way to share the videos I took of the performances if you were not able to attend on Thursday and Friday.

Here are some of the reminders for this week:

Wednesday, Feb. 7
Return library books

On February 10th, it is Lunar New Year. Happy New Year to families who celebrate. We will be talking about celebrations in the classroom. What is something your family celebrates? You can talk to your child about it, and we will talk more about it as a class on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

***Looking ahead:
On Wednesday, February 14, it is Valentine’s Day. I will be sending out more information like a list of student names if you’d like to give out cards and treats. We are going to make Valentine’s Day mailboxes. Please bring a small box (cereal, shoe box, etc) to school on Monday, Feb. 12, so we can start decorating. You can bring one earlier if you’d like (maybe Thursday and Friday). If you have an extra small box, feel free to bring it in case another needs one. Thank you!
