Last Week of School!
Hello Parents and Students,
We are finishing up our last Monday together for the 2019/2020 school year. What a year it has been! All I can say is it has been a pleasure getting to know all of your through out the year. It has been an honor being your teacher and teaching and learning alongside you both in class and online.
To the Grade 7’s that are leaving I wish you all of the best next year in high school! I know it feels like an exciting new adventure you’re ready to conquer and I know you will all do amazingly! Remember to be yourself, ask questions, work smart, try new things, and never give up.
To the Grade 6’s you are about to enter your last year of elementary school and be the Grade 7’s you’ve probably day dreamed about being for a while now. I know you will be the strong, confident, and kind leaders Buckingham is looking for in the next school year.
To all our parents, thank you for all your kindness and support during this school year, especially during online learning. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, and you should be so proud of yourselves for getting through it as well.
As I end this note I want to let you all know I won’t be teaching at Buckingham next school year. I’ve accepted a position at another school so I won’t be here when the new Grade 8’s come to visit, and I won’t be able to watch the new batch of Grade 7’s do all the wonderful things I know they will. I will miss all your smiling faces, and all the fun and laughs we had all year. I wish you the best of luck in the next school year, and all the ones after as well.
I’m excited to watch all the Grade 7’s at the leaving ceremony on Wednesday and to see all of you one last time on Thursday when you come to pick up your things.
Miss you all, love and hugs,
Ms. Wilson
