Core Competency Self Reflection

Hello Students,

As mentioned in our class call today we need to start thinking about our Core Competency Self Reflections for the end of the year.

Each year every student needs to reflect on their progress in ONE of the 3 Core Competency Categories: Communication, Thinking, and Personal & Social.  This reflection can look many different ways.  This year we’re going to write a paragraph reflecting on how we have progressed in one of these categories from the beginning of the year.  There are many things you can consider while reflecting on these categories.  The current situation we are in may also play a large factor in your reflection as it has changed the way many of us communicate, think, and interact with ourselves and others.  If you’re confused about what the Core Competencies are remember in our classroom on the far wall the 3 posters that have been hanging there all year?  Those are the Core Competencies. I will also find a good video or link for you to look at quickly to refresh yourself.

We will be doing this reflection as a SURVEY.  I will post the survey on the BLOG and on TEAMS for you to access.

I’m hoping you can get this reflection done by next Friday June 12, let me know if you won’t be able to complete it by then and we can talk about a different date.

Please keep in mind this is not an assignment and its not getting marked. This is for you to reflect on your progress this year.  Your reflection will be added to your report card without any changes by me so please make sure you are happy with it before you hit submit.
