Today the students had time to work on their Math Project: Design a Playground – students had to design a playground and calculate the area of each of the parts of their playground. It was an in-class assignment, if not done it is due on Tuesday after the long weekend (it isn’t a huge project).

We also worked on making our Halloween piñatas to fill with candy and break on Halloween day – if anyone wants to donate any candy, it would be much appreciated! 🙂

We went to the YPC today too and we learned about different dances coming from various places in South America – it was really neat!
