Dear Parents,

Happy Snowy Day! Today, half the class went with Ms. Dittrich to play in the Gym and the other half I took outside to play in the snow 🙂 It was a lot of fun, but quite cold! Then, we worked on Math word problems for money using different operations – addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. It is homework if it is not done and there are 2 sheets. Then, we had DPA & snack and worked on our Turtle Island comics and energy projects. Students have made an individual plan of what they will do every day next week to help save the planet based on the environmental villain they have chosen to face.

After lunch, we did our Daily 5 literacy stations and then went to read with our buddies.

After recess, we had our engagement party that the kids wanted to throw for me – they are so sweet and made me a veil and bouquet of flowers and some decorations. It was so kind! Thank you for all of the treats that you all brought in for the party, I really appreciate it!!!!! We had a wedding ceremony, throwing of the bouquet, and a toast! It was so wonderful – I will post the videos on Fresh Grade haha 🙂

The students have their Winter Break pictures & writing due on Monday and they will present on Monday as well to explain what they wrote and did in their pictures.
