Division 8/9/10 (Grade 4) Class Picnic Information Form
Dear Parents,
As the end of the year approaches quickly, we thought it might be nice to have a picnic day at Ron McClean Park with the three Grade 4 classes. 🙂
We will be going on Thursday, June 23rd, 2021 at 10:45 (after recess), weather permitting. If the forecast looks bad, we will re-arrange the date closer to the day. If the weather is only a bit rainy/cool, we will go regardless, but students should dress for the weather.
We will be going for nearly the whole day, so your child should be ready with:
- A full water bottle
- Dress for the weather
- Packed lunch & snacks (Hot Lunch will get bagged lunches to bring from the meal program)
- Hand Sanitizer
- Students can bring pre-packaged snacks or drinks for the class if they would like, as long as they have enough for their individual class
- A towel or picnic blanket to sit on (if you have extras and feel okay with sending these, this would be greatly appreciated ☺)
- Any easy games/cards that students want to bring (please no electronics to play on)
- No devices – we want the kids to play outside and have fun together not on electronics
- No water guns
- Consider a change of clothes (we won’t be going in water, but just in case it’s muddy or a bit rainy)
We are inviting parent volunteers to help out on that day – the more the merrier – we especially need help with supervising children when walking there and back Pick-up will be in the classroom as usual.
