Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our Mystery Object drawing – the kids really brought the creativity again!!  After, we did some more long division practice with remainders and then had snack and recess.

Following recess, we went through some Fur Trade information (Samuel de Champlain, Voyageurs, Coureur de Bois, Smallpox Epidemic, First Nations’ Involvement in Fur Trade) and then Ms. Varley came and took the kids outside.

After lunch, the students worked on their books in Book Creator and then we had a special zoom call with my husband. The kids got to ask questions about himself and then we played a little competition game on Kahoot: Who Knows Ms. Wilks Better – Her class or her husband? This year, the kids won, last year my husband won 🙂 Then, the kids did some Blooket review on multiplication and moon phases.

Reminder: Picnic tomorrow! If you are meeting us to come along, we will be leaving school at 10:45 (after morning recess) – We are not leaving right in the morning!

Grocery bags – please send your child with a labelled grocery bag before Monday as we will be packing up our desks!
