Dear Parents,

 

Sorry for the late post today. We started off with our Literature Circles Quiz #2 this morning. After, students had time to work on their Fur Trading Post design. This will be due at the end of class tomorrow and students are not allowed to bring it home to work on.

Then, we had snack and recess. Following recess, as a reward for students who finished their Latch hook rugs on time, these students had free time. Students who were not done worked on their rugs until lunch. At this point, students need to be taking more accountability for their work and making sure it is finished on time.

After lunch, students worked on their Book Creator books. Then, we had DPA and Science. During Science, we talked about the three main states of matter – solids, liquids, and gases. Students watched a video about the molecular make-up of each of these states. Then, they came up with examples. We talked about what differentiates these three states on a molecular model as well.
