Dear Parents,
Today, students started off with silent reading and then had time to work on their Literature Circle #2 work. Reminder that the Literature Circle work is due tomorrow as we are having our second meeting. The quiz is also coming up on Friday of this week and will contain reading comprehension questions on the first three sessions.
Then, I handed out the Math survey project. Students started to design a few steps of their Math surveys and will be asking their questions tomorrow or later this week to the class as well as another class. I modeled how to create a tally chart and a pictograph as well on the board by conducting a class survey with the students.
After, we had snack and recess. Then, students had a session with Simon James and had time to work on their Science Animal Adaptations projects. Reminder: they will be presenting on Thursday and I will be marking their work on the project on this day as well in the Google Slides. Students should be practicing and working on this at home if they still have a lot left to do since they only have one more class to work on this on Wednesday.
Following lunch, students worked on their Book Creator books and then had DPA, planners, clean-up, and then Gym. I collected marks for Gymnastics today, which will go toward students’ report cards.
