Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our Math Minute and checking who had handed in their Weekend Journals. Then, we started off with our Math lesson. We talked about how to choose whether to use square metres or square centimetres to measure various objects. We also talked about creating a length and width for a rectangle in order to multiply to get a specific Area of rectangle (e.g. 12 square metres can be made with length = 6 m and width = 2 m or other combinations that multiply to get 12 square metres). Students were assigned Unit 4, Lesson 11, All questions except Question 1. This is homework if not finished today in class.

Then, students worked on their Drama reflections.

After, we had snack, desk check, and then recess.

Following recess, students had time to work on their Drama reflections and when done, finish their rough copy of their Indigenous stories by writing their Resolution. These rough copy stories are due for marking by Wednesday and students should be working on this at home if they are not done. We played Blooket right before lunch on Biomes to review for tomorrow.

After lunch, we watched a movie and then cleaned up, did planners, and had Gym. In Gym, we played a variety of games – Octopus, Pizza, Frogs & Flies, and Atoms & Molecules.

Reminder: Biomes Test is tomorrow. Use the Biomes booklet to study – students have been reminded multiple times to pack this and review this booklet over the past week.

Social Studies story is due on Wednesday.
