Dear Parents,
Today, we started by going over who had finished their Weekend Journal. I am finding that there is a repeated few students who are not handing this in on time every week. Please go over the weekend journal with your child every weekend to make sure they are doing their homework. We have one generally every weekend.
Then, students filled in a peer evaluation form to evaluate their own work as well as their peer’s work on the project. Then, students had time to practice their presentations for tomorrow.
After, we had snack and recess. Following recess, we talked about the homework from Friday and took up any questions from it. Then, we talked about telling time to the minute and modelling this with the interactive clock on the board. Then, we did a quick Blooket for this in partners.
After, students worked in groups for their Drama skit on the “True Story of the 3 Little Pigs.”
After lunch, we had quiet activity time and then watched our school assembly. Then, students had a bit of time to work on their Coast Salish art, which is due on Friday.
Then, we had DPA, planners and clean-up, and then Badminton for Gym.
Reminder: Spelling Test on Thursday and Biome presentations tomorrow!
