Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our Math Minute. After, we took up a practice sheet that students completed first thing this morning with adding commas in a list. When we write a list, there needs to be a comma in between different items and before the word ‘and.’

We talked about elapsed time today and how this just means how much time has passed. We did some practice on the board with this as well and students modeled with their own clocks.

Then, students went to Music and had recess.

When they came in, they had snack and started working on their Biome projects.

Today was the last in-class session students will have to work on their PowerPoints. They will have one class on Monday to practice the presentation with their partners, but need to finish up everything else at home.

After lunch, we had our Daily 5 stations. Then, DPA.

After DPA, we read a bit about the seasons and Indigenous activities based on the season and worked on our Coast Salish Art.
