Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our Math Minute. Then, we recorded our Drama skit of “What, No Santa?” The kids did a wonderful job and should be so proud of themselves!! 🙂 I will try to post it as soon as possible, but it’s a large file so it takes a while to upload.

After, we had snack and recess.

After recess, we did some Math practice with our 8 times table. Students practiced using Blooket and it was a really fun competition that was Christmas-based. Then, we did another one on division practice.

Then, Ms. Varley came in and did a Christmas bead craft with the kids.

After lunch, we got the chance to learn about raptors and different kinds of birds in this category. The presenter brought in two owls that the students got to learn about and see. The kids learned a lot and the presenter was very engaging. A lot of fun.

Then, we went back to the classroom and read a bit about the Desert biome. Report cards were handed out today – please let me know if you have any questions. Students are still encouraged to bring a labelled grocery bag with their name on it before Friday to help us clean up their items before the Winter Break.
