Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our spelling test. After, students did their Math Minute (and a half) for 2 times tables up to 10. Then, they went to Music.

Following recess, students had snack while we played multiplication bingo, which was a lot of fun. After that, students wrote their outline for their Weekend Journal – If you could create a magical dream world, what would it be like? They are to aim for half a page and share 3 details about their imaginary world. Then, we talked about times tables by 0, 5, and 10, and students started working on Unit 3, Lesson 2 #1-10. It is homework if not done.

After lunch, we learned about the Cinquain poem and students wrote their rough and good copy out (if not done, again it is homework). Then, we did some more review on plural vs. use of an apostrophe.

To end off the day, we did planners and students had community time in our own classroom.

Reminder: Students’ health booklets & summary are due on Tuesday!
