Dear Parents,
Today, we started off with another “Their, There, They’re” sheet in order to help students solidify their understanding of these words before the spelling test on Thursday. Then, we did a Math Minute practicing our 2 times table up to x 5. We are continuing to work on the automaticity of these calculations. After, I went over arrays, doubling, factors, and products before I assigned students to work on pages 84-85 #1-3, 5, 7-9. It is homework if not done.
After, we had library and then recess. When we came back in, students had snack and a bit more time to work on Math. Then, we did a homophone exercise in order to practice this concept some more.
After, Scott came in to do a lesson with the students and building on how we want to feel in the classroom and how we can make this atmosphere possible through each of our actions.
Following lunch, we did our Daily 5 stations, had DPA, and then did planners and cleaned up. Students ended the day with Music.
