Dear Parents,

Today we started off with talking about our Halloween party on Friday. Thank you so much to everyone that sent candy for our pinatas! I really appreciate it! Any candy or treats are allowed as long as they are individually wrapped and preferably nut free. We will be watching Hotel Transylvania on Friday. No costumes with fake weapons or culturally insensitive costumes.

Then, we did a Math Lesson on rounding to the nearest ten or hundred in order to make estimates in addition problems. Students worked on pages 47-48 #1-4, 7, 8, 10 with challenge #9 if done early. Homework if not done.

Following that, we had snack and recess. Then, students worked on their Social Studies projects. Their notes should be completely done now or they will need to finish it at home.

Then, Mr. Anderson came in to do a lesson on identifying others’ feelings.

After lunch, we did our Daily 5 stations and then planners and cleaned up. We had DPA and then students ended the day with Music.
