Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our new spelling words. They are now posted under our Spelling Words section of the blog 😊 They are also posted in our classroom above the yellow table for students to copy if they didn’t get it all down during the allotted time or were away. The spelling test is on Thursday, October 14th and students are highly recommended to study for at least 10 minutes each day.

Then, we worked on putting our timeline photos for our timelines in chronological order.

After, we did a desk check and students had recess.

After recess, students worked on their group Physical Regions poster and then we went outside for a bit and worked on our crayon work before lunch. Crayon Art is due on Friday if not done already.

Following lunch, we worked on Part 1 of our Paragraph of the week and then students worked on continuing to write their paragraph about their Passions and Talents as part of their Autobiography Writing.

Then, students wrote their planners, had DPA, and then we had Gym. In Gym, we played some more partner volleyball and some other running/circle games.

Students are also reminded they they have a Social Studies Quiz on Thursday. Students will need to be able to label a map and identify the capital city that matches each province or territory. Spelling is not the main focus of this quiz and will thus not be marked on spelling.
