Dear Parents,

Today, we started out taking up the Math homework. I was very happy that nearly the whole class finished all their homework on time. Then, I read the students some more of our Animorphs class read aloud.

After Music and recess, we watched a beautiful IMAX video of Canadian scenery and recorded our observations of the natural landscape of each group of provinces.

Then, we set up the iPads to play Kahoot and played after lunch. Prior to playing the game, we wrote our planners:

Students’ weekend journal question this week: What is the best trip/vacation you have ever been on? Why? Tell me about it? Students are expected to try to write a page without skipping likes and to use paragraphs.

The Kahoot quiz was on naming provinces and territories by location on the map and their corresponding capital cities. It was a lot of fun! The last thing we did was practice our use of various types of words by doing a silly mad libs game.
