Dear Parents,
Today, I worked with students in learning to continue a pattern by drawing the next few figures and how to complete a t chart showing the information. We talked more about pattern rules as well. I also went over key vocabulary terms with the students to make sure they understood the terminology used in the questions. Students were assigned pages 12-13 #1 a-e, 2, 3, 4 a-c.
After, we had Gym where we played tag and a couple rounds of bench ball.
Following recess, we worked on continuing to fill in the two facts for each province from our provinces and territories song. We also did a review game reviewing the province names on a map with whiteboards. Then, we played charades.
After lunch, students started to create their timelines for our autobiography writing.
Reminder that early dismissal is tomorrow at 2 as well and no school on Friday!
