Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with Science where we learned about solutions, solvents, solubility, and solutes. I went through an example with students and we talked about an example of each part of the mixtures. We also watched a video on plasma and the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and the destruction of the city of Pompeii.

After, students went to Music and then we had DPA.

Following DPA, I read some of the next Animorphs novel to the students and then we did our Daily 5 stations.

After lunch, we started on some new optical illusion artwork and students had time to work on their Wonder Writing briefly after recess. At the end of the day, students coloured in an Indigenous art piece of a thunderbird and worked on their Father’s Day piece.
