Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with reading some of “Wonder” and then students worked on completing the Show What You Know from their respective textbooks. Tomorrow, I will be doing a review for the Math Test on Wednesday.

Then, we went outside for DPA and then came in and finished off the last two gallery walk presentations for Science.

After that, we did round 2 of our ADST Battle of the Boats challenge. Finally, before lunch, students were split into groups of 4 to work on a mystery fairytale tableaux. They made a four scene storyboard for their tableaux and started working on practicing it.

After lunch, students had computers to work on their social studies projects. I assigned Grade 5s their new project of creating a storybook (by hand not on the computer) on one of the sections of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. They started out by researching their section today and will proceed to writing a story once they feel they understand the section enough.

At the end of the day, students had time to work on their health pamphlets.

Health pamphlets are due next Wednesday, May 26th and French interviews are on Thursday, May 27th.
